DJ Sampath

Co-founder and CEO

Dhananjay Sampath is the Co-founder & CEO of Armorblox. Prior to Armorblox, he was the VP of Engineering and a founding team member of StackRox, a Sequoia backed startup. Dhananjay was a senior research scientist at Deutsche Telekom labs, where he was responsible for the secure digital transformation of telcos to a cloud-native, software-defined stack. Prior to that, he was at Juniper Networks and introduced machine-driven classification to the Unified Threat Management platform. Dhananjay graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. His work on Compact Routing Protocols was funded by grants from DARPA/DoD/ARO.

Anand Raghavan

Co-founder and CPO

As Co-founder & CPO at Armorblox, Anand loves the excitement of working with world-class teams to build and market game-changing products. Prior to Armorblox, Anand launched ThoughtSpot out of stealth mode, and built and ran product marketing and product management teams there. Anand was a founding team member and product manager at Blue Jeans Network, helping to grow it from four employees to 200+ employees and 2,000+ customers. Before that, he held several engineering roles, including six years at NVIDIA. Anand has a B.Tech. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, an M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was named a Palmer Scholar.

Arjun Sambamoorthy

Co-founder and Head of Engineering

As a founding engineer in Armorblox, Arjun brings over a decade of experience building security products, problem solving, technology innovation with a passion towards engineering excellence. Previously, Arjun was a core member of the security group at Netskope, where he was instrumental in designing and developing Netskope's DLP and Data Plane product lines and applying innovative solutions to challenging customer use cases and problems. He was also part of the Unified Threat Management team at Juniper Networks, with a focus on improving the scale, performance and efficacy of the security features in Juniper's next-generation SRX platform. He started his career as a threat and vulnerability research engineer at Sipera Systems. Arjun holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from UTDallas and multiple patents, and has been a speaker at multiple security and hacker conferences.

Chetan Anand

Co-founder and Architect

Chetan Anand is a Co-Founder and Architect at Armorblox. Chetan previously was at Netskope where, as a core member of the data plane platform team, built several product features that are part of Netskope's Cloud Security Platform, including, but not limited to - Netskope for Web, Netskope for SaaS, Data Leak Prevention, Anti-Malware and Threat Prevention and other subsystems of Netskope's Cloud Scale Platform. Chetan also had prior stints at Juniper Networks, where he architected and developed product features for Juniper's SRX Firewalls for both data center and branch platforms and at Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia), where he built Radio Network Controller Security Software. Chetan obtained an MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a BE in Computer Science from RV College of Engineering, India. Chetan is an inventor named on several patents and pending patent applications.

Rob Fry

Chief Technology Officer

Rob Fry is an accomplished executive, architect, inventor, and public speaker with over 20 years of experience working with tech in an array of fields. In his current role as CTO for Armorblox, he gets to work on his passion for the cybersecurity space. Rob is best known for his contributions while working on the Cloud Security Team at Netflix where he was leading them on their move from data center operations to AWS. Prior to Netflix, Fry was Principal Architect at Yahoo, where he created configuration and automation frameworks in production environments. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring college students and working with universities on research and guiding technology companies and startups through their growth and innovation phases as an active participant on advisory boards and engineering steering teams.

Jason Stutt

SVP, Global Sales

As SVP Global Sales at Armorblox, Jason brings with him more than 20 years of sales leadership and strategy experience at global technology companies. Jason previously served as Duo Security's VP Americas Sales, where he played a critical role in building up Duo as a unicorn in its marketplace. Jason grew annual sales from just a few million dollars to more than $75 million ARR over a period of three years, structured Duo's sales operation for enterprise and Fortune 100 companies, and expanded its sales team from two to 65 employees, priming the company for its acquisition by Cisco Systems Inc. for $2.35 billion.

Brian Johnson

Chief Security Officer

Brian brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership, founding, and building to his role as Chief Security Officer at Armorblox. Previously, Brian was Co-founder and General Partner at Crucyble, CISO at Lending Club (LC), and has held leadership positions at Netflix (NFLX) and ForeScout (FSCT). Brian has helped design, build and secure systems for the US Department of Defense, Global Finance, and Technology companies at scale. He has enjoyed speaking on innovation and maturing security organizations at the RSA Conference and National Press Club. Brian is regularly asked to speak at security conferences, as well as, brief Board of Directors and Executive Management teams. Brian has worked with Federal Agencies and Policy Advisors to influence actionable change in national security policy. Brian is an active advisor and mentor to several startups and founders in Silicon Valley.

Mandy Legal

Head of Legal

Mandy is an experienced legal team leader, with a passion for scaling highly effective teams, while discovering innovative ways to support business goals and meet customer needs. Most recently, Mandy helped to build the legal team and function as Assistant General Counsel at Duo Security, leading the contracts function and team through the hyper growth phase to a successful $2.35 billion acquisition by Cisco. Prior to her time at Duo, Mandy worked in house at Rovi (subsequently merged with TiVo and now part of Xperi) where she supported metadata and SaaS licensing for a global sales function. Mandy also spent time early in her career as an associate in the Detroit office of Pepper Hamilton and the Houston office of Baker Botts where she focused on a variety of corporate matters, including M&A, real estate and securities work.

Kassidy Huynh

Head of People and Culture

Kassidy brings close to a decade of global start-up experience in the People space. Kassidy is passionate about developing and providing world-class employee experience through diverse people-centered programs. Kassidy leverages her breadth of start-up experience to provide an extensive scope that includes culture development, economic development, project management, operations, recruiting, and employee and organizational development. Kassidy was previously with Branch Metrics where she built the team and People programs from the ground up and scaled the company through exponential growth from 10 employees to 120 in 2.5 years. Prior to Branch, Kassidy scaled Amobee from 25 employees to 200+ over the course of 4 years through multiple acquisitions, international expansions and revenue growth with a less than 5% attrition rate, preparing Amobee for its acquisition by Singapore-based telco, SingTel, for $325 million.
